Try This: Rosewater and Aloe Hair Spritz

It’s approaching 5 months since my BC (big chop)! I love getting to know my hair more and more each day. I have finally discover my staple hair products…but I’m always open to finding backups.  In a previous post I shared my facination for “mixing” and the things I’ve tried so far. Well, I’m back at it again! This time I made a new hair spritz with this recipe found at KisforKinky.

The basic ingredients are:  4-8 oz of rose water, 1/3 cup aloe vera gel, 1/3 cup vegetable glycerin  (adjust aloe and glycerin as needed) and a few drops of  rosemary essential oil.

I used this hair spritz a couple of days ago and I LOVE it! My hair is so moist, I find myself touching it even more that I normally do! I really like finding new mixes that I can add to my regular routine. They allow me to try new things, be creative (especially when I add my own spin to them), and they save me money!

Try it out, and let me know what you think!
Do you have a different hair spritz that you enjoy? If so tell me about it.

LJ – this sounds like something I’m going to have to try. The humidity here wrecks havoc with my curly hair…thanks for the tip. Pam @ Sallygoodin

Hi Pam! Give it a try. The Rosewater alone smells wonderful. I don’t use this spritz daily, but usually about twice a week. Certain products aren’t for everybody, but you’ll never know if your hair likes it or not unless you test them out :)

  3. I’m sooo glad you posted this! I was pondering whether to try Rosewater or not. I actually ended up buying both the aloe vera gel and the Rosewater.

    Thank you!

You are so very welcome lady! I hope your hair loves it as much as mine :~)
