“Stuff the Bus” 2010 Food Drive ( #BatonRouge )
EBR Parish School Bus Operators Association, along with Neighbors Federal Credit Union and area schools, are teamed with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank for the 2010 “Stuff the Bus” food drive.
Starting TODAY March 15th, through Friday March 19th you are encouraged to bring your donations of NON-PARISHABLE boxed or canned food, to the Goodwood branch of NFCU.(Monetary donations will also be accepted there.)
As mentioned, area schools will also be participating, so parents with kids at these school, you have the added convenience to send donations to school with them. You also have the added opportunity to volunteer, at your child’s school, as a way to support the cause. (I’ll take volunteering for 1000 Alex!) Ask your child if they received the flyer to bring home.
So start brainstorming now about your plans to donate. And remember, this helps to feed OUR children!
