I can honestly say that I throughly enjoy the world of Social Media. In just these few months, I’ve come across many extraordinary women (and a few men too). I love learning things from them, supportingly watching their brands grow and enjoying the community of it all.
Several times a year, there are blogging/social media conferences, that span all over the country. There is Blogalicious, Typeamom, BlogHer, Blissdom, Disney Social media…the list is steadily growing, and I want to be there. But then in the back of my mind, I have nagging questions.
- Have they ever had any D/deaf attendees?
- If D/deaf attendees were previously had, what type of accommodations were offered?
- If there were no previous D/deaf attendees, how open are the host to providing accommodations?
I would love to get some feedback on this. Especially from the host of some of these conferences. Have any of you readers attended any social media conferences before? What do you think?
