Give me my flowers now, please.

I ordered these flowers today for a loved one. After over 50 yrs. of marriage, she is laying her husband to rest tomorrow, after he fell asleep in death on Christmas Eve. As I was searching for the arrangement I wanted to send, I said to myself, “Give me my flowers now!” Please, if you love me, like me, or appreciate anything that I have ever done…don’t wait. I have always tried to make a habit out of letting people know how much I appreciate them. I haven’t done it perfectly, or to the extent that I’ve wanted each time…but its the thought that counts.
Understand this, our “flowers” don’t have to be literal (although literal flowers are really nice). They can be a brief note, a card, a smile or hug of appreciation…or a thank you. The point is don’t take people or experiences for granted. Aunt Lois & Uncle Richard must have shared tons of  “flowers” throughout their 57 year marriage. So today, I challenge all of you to give as many people as you can “flowers” today.
In Memory of :
